Meet Our New Esthetician: Olivia Crary!

For anyone who has ever been in to see us here at Lapiel, you know that we operate very much as a family business. So when we decided to grow our little family we wanted to make sure that we were going to find someone who could not only provide the best possible service to our amazing clients, but someone who would fit into the wonderfully wacky environment we’ve created here. Cue Olivia: A former student of our current esthetician Julie and an honest to goodness ray of sunshine, we could not be more excited to have her join the team! Meet Olivia

Olivia was born and raised in New Glarus, Wi. (Yes, the town with the Spotted Cow!) She attended North Central College, in Naperville, IL and graduated with a BA in 2015. Shortly after graduation, she moved to Chicago and attended the Aveda Institute, where Julie was her instructor and mentor. Olivia recently joined the Lapiel team as their newst Eshtetician and Client Coordinator. After working as Esthetician in the Subarbs for a couple of years, Olivia was able to hone her skills and bring her experience with Glytone to Lapiel. Her favorite service would have to be Teen Facials which helps teens to improve their ever changing skin. She loves to help clients gain confidence through proper skincare practices

Olivia lives in Buena Park, and when not extracting people’s skin, she can be found exploring Chicago, binge watching Netflix with her cat Dolly Parton, and cruising up to Wisconsin to snuggle her three adorable nephews.

What We Love About Olivia

Apart from being one of the most genuinely positive people you’ll ever meet, Oliva comes to us with tons of experience working with Glytone Chemical Peels. She excels in working with our younger clients and helping them feel both comfortable and capable in going home and taking better care of their skin. Perhaps the biggest compliment she has recieved thus far comes from the mini-intern, who claims her extraction technique “doesn’t even hurt!” She is constant reading about new skin care trends and techniques and incorporating them into her treatments. We could not be luckier to have found her and cannot wait for everyone to meet her!
